I'm hoping to be able to view this as a new beginning. I have held back from this post for a few weeks. It's all good news now, I have a home. A huge apartment with two great roommates. It's a nice place. Things are still coming together but we're almost done. We just got the internet set up today actually. I'm not entirely sure how these next few months are gonna go, but I'm thinking of giving myself a unique goal, a promise started in 2012, but unfinished to this day. Regardless of whether or not anyone is still interested in it after all these years, it's a really good flash and I have to share it. In fact, I want to get back into flash entirely. I am hoping to do that, but I'm trying to settle down just a bit more. Over these next few months, I'll be preparing my savings and funds to take classes in glassblowing.
At this very moment, I am still in setup mode. At this point I'm mostly just arranging my room and organizing. Decoration is something that will come over time but is still important to me as I enjoy having a stimulating and inspiring environment. Onward, I'd like to take a moment to wish thanks to all who have helped me through these past eight and a half months. For the record, I still have not talked to my mother at all, and as each day comes and goes that I do not, I feel myself just a little bit fuller on the inside. A lot of shit has happened and my life has gone through quite a few changes, but I am satisfied overall.
I think after this final week of setup, I'll take a moment just to fucking rest. I'll come home, get back into gaming, watching movies, then soon enough onto more productive things such as furthering my art and picking Flash back up. I am definitely not done making flash movies.
But yeah, home sweet home. My roommates are awesome, respectful, and half basically the exact same ideas for how to run a home as I do. I have three hermit crabs and a beautiful ball python that I adopted from a great friend of mine. I live in a two story townhome-style apartment, second and third floor. My bedroom on the third floor has the most astonishing view of the eastern horizon.
