Some of the people below me are faggots.

Who cares if it's old and he's just now uploading it? How should that in any way take away from the quality of the animation?
The movie is pretty great actually. Your animating style is pretty great, and you did a really good job on the music video.

FINALLY

Damn. I've been looking for this everywhere. After a while the link sorta broke, but glad you were able to reupload it.
Anyhow, it was awesome. Great audio, hilarious. The animation was pretty great, looked very professional. The backgrounds were also pretty great. One thing that kinda lacked about this animation was the quality of the sword clash sounds. All of the other audio sounded pretty decent, but the swords were low.
That's only a small thing though, it's pretty damn great and you're very talented.

Alright

Well, I liked it.. I guess there were some things I didn't like about it though. The people. I don't know I just felt that the people didn't really look too fitting. The singing part could have been much better. Maybe some different views of him with more light casting on him, I don't know.
I do like the way you illustrated the strange folk though, that was done alright I guess. The humor, well.. It wasn't that it wasn't funny, it's just that it was unfitting. It's too different from the overall mood that the song gives off, so it didn't really seem like it was very fitting.

Overall I liked it, just these small things.

I remember this.

I remember seeing this long ago. I doubt you still check around this site but I still really like this video. The art style you used was pretty nice, it still looked like Gorillaz, but they were drawn in your own way, which made it look great. I had never really thought of what a video would look like for this song, but I guess this is pretty fitting. I liked how each character had a bit of their personalities in this video.
But yeah pretty cool video.

I don't even know.. But I love it!

That was awesome. The art style was a different style, but it was very fitting and something about it was just great. The overall animation was very smooth and nicely done. There's nothing negative I could say about this, other than the fact that the shoop scene didn't really appeal to me that much. But that's just me.
But yeah I really love these types of movies that just go everywhere. Very creative and entertaining.

As a long time Zelda fan

I must say that was pretty great.
I remember seeing the thread in the Flash forums for a long time, I wanted to join, but I occasionally posted in the thread to give pointers or link to Zelda sound effects. I probably would have joined if I wasn't busy with whatever, but either way this collab was pretty great.
Each part had its moments, so I can't really pick a favorite part. I was kinda hoping for more Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask themed parts (my two favorite ones) but I'll live. The animation was pretty nice for the most part, and even the parts that weren't animated as good still made up for it by being funny.
Besides the main movie, I also enjoyed everything else. The credits scene was pretty cool. I liked the bonus scenes, the hearts weren't too hard to find, and the parts were pretty funny too. I also really liked the author bio page. It was probably the best author thing that I have ever seen in a flash movie. Truly a great way of making credits fun.

I also got a laugh at the little statues that tell you the time, I love those things.

Great collab, worth the wait, thumbs up, etc.

Hehe

That was nice. I hadn't seen a Madness Short this good in quite a while. The animation looks pretty great, smooth and all that. One part I really liked was when they were all on the conveyor belt

Pretty nice, but..

That was a pretty smooth animation. Your custom sprites are pretty great, and basically the entire thing was well drawn. The one thing I liked about the original was that it was more relevant to its name. It was about Hank from the preloader going after the proceed button, that was awesome. This, however, was just a fight with the same characters.
Either way, it was nice.

LYRONMARTIS responds:

True there really is no story related to this one, just wanted to go a lil bit more Madness where sometimes shit dont make sense :D
Thanks for you review, also watched your flash btw !

The song is stuck in my head again

It was like 3 years ago when I went through a phase of listening to that song over and over again. It's really a neat song.. But besides that, the animation was surprising. You really have improved quite a bit. Like really really. The animation was mainly fine, some of the art could be worked on, though. Mainly the hair on the woman. It was pretty poorly made and you could have probably done way better.

GabrielBarsch responds:

i made the hair when i was lazy...but thanks and congratulations for the mothefuckin score in day of the madness

Wouldn't be complete without you

AWESOME
The animation was excellent, and the backgrounds were very well drawn. I absolutely loved the music you used. Mainly the DMX scene, that was great.
Good luck on the future part
