That finale sounds like it'll be something major. Also, music copyright is a pain to deal with, and props for your alcohol abstinence. I've been trying to limit myself on that over the last year to one or two drinks a month and didn't have any this past March, April, or May.
The licensed music thing is really upsetting for me because a lot of my all-time favorite flash movies have either used licensed music or are fan-made music videos. I've been able to find some on Youtube, but others have been lost forever in the aether of the internet. I totally understand why it's a thing though, especially with bigger record labels. On most occasions, I feel like individual artists would be okay with fan-made music videos, like the occasion with Weird Al and his collection page on NG, for example. (As I was typing this, I was curious to see if your White N' Nerdy video was still up, and I don't see it? Did you remove it, or did the NG moderation team?)
Also thank you! I don't know if I'd commit to not drinking ever again like I'm highly considering, but I struggled very badly with knowing when to stop and getting into a habit. At 25, hangovers are starting to be extremely physically exhausting and just not worth it. I'm thinking I may have a celebratory drink in autumn, but after that, meh. It definitely helps that everything is shut down. I'll have to admit, I've been a bit nervous of hanging out with some of my friends who frequently drink. Not necessarily that they'd judge me, but that I wouldn't fit in with whatever was going on or be on the same level.. My mind is mostly focused on Overtime these days, so it's not like I'm hanging out with anyone anyway lol.

I almost forgot about my long-gone "White N Nerdy" video. That was something I specifically had taken down back in 2011 because I didn't like it anymore, which was before music copyright on this site became stricter sometime during 2016. Unfortunately, those rules led to my "12 Pains of X-Mas" video (a creation I still cherish to this day and have saved on my laptop) being unpublished. Tom and Wade told me I'd have to use non-copyrighted audio for that to be republished, and that even crediting artists isn't enough to justify such inclusions. Oh well. In any case, I see what you mean with worries about spending time with drinking friends after your abstinence.
