Fact is dude, you're not over rated. You put time into your work, you put good effort into it, and you deserve the credit you get. And as you said, I like how all these assholes try to call you over rated instead of every other over rated madness animator out there, which there ARE fricken plenty of them, and I bet the same people who call YOU over rated are kissing the asses of the TRULY over rated artists as we speak and trying to get those artists to like them. People really need to get brains.
Thanks mayne, yeah it truly does strike me as to why I don't see these types of comments on other people's pages. Maybe it's because they have more sense to delete the comments to contain the spread of an argument that would span out an entire news post in which pretty much everyone avoids the post its self (like this has become.)

I like how they seem to think calling you over rated will even change shit anyway. It's not going to hurt your feelings, and it's not going to change you fan's opinions of you, so what's the point?

In my opinion, yes, you do deserve the fanbase and you're not over rated.
Besides if you're over rated, then why aren't people bigger than you like the guy who does Xionic madness getting the same comments? Sounds more like a personal attack to me.
I agree, in the earlier days I think it would have been a lot safer to call myself overrated. But now, at risk of sounding egotistical, I really don't think I am at all. I think for the most part, it's simply people who have a general dislike for me or my movies and feel they need to announce their individuality by insulting both me and the people who like them, as I have yet to receive a legitimate, non-opinionated reasoning behind these labels.
Even if I am, as if it's my fault right? As if I purposely incorporate elements that I know people will like in order to get views and basically whore myself out, as that's what it implies. Fact is, I really don't care about what people want to see, I put in the shit I want to see. (Edit: I care about constructive criticism though.)
Personally, I feel that a majority of individuals don't even know the events and milestones you've been through Link; the achievements you've personally earned by dedicating multiple hours upon days of your time on your forms of entertainment.
Sure users have gained the respect and recognition through different methods of animation, music, or art, but your sense of perspective on animation brought yourself your own group of adoring fans.
Fact is, the moment this site realized you were making a sequel to "Dawn of the Madness" I believe that's when you received the most attention. And now that you've been absent for sometime and still managing to maintain the same amount of fans without submitting anything, I believe resulted in these several acts of harsh replies.
Users need to realize that one simply can't devote their entire time on something surely because others demand it, they need to be motivated, stress-free, and above all willing to put forth the effort knowing that a large amount of people are waiting PATIENTLY for its arrival.
I don't know about you Link, but I do believe it's time for you to release something fresh out of your noodle; although I disagree that you're not over-rated. You've simply gone away for a long period of time.
Actually, it seems as though gradually throughout the years, the numbers have decreased. The view count and number of reviews significantly declined with each of my releases, and maybe I'm just completely disconnected with things around here, but I don't really think as many people are around as they once were. Not to imply that it bothers me, it's just a small observation.
Also, something fresh will be here next month mayne.
