Today marks the beginning of the summer of 2012. I hope this summer is about 10,000 times more productive than the shitty situation I found myself in last summer. But I won't even fucking go there.
To start the summer off with a bang, I attended a Rammstein concert in San Antonio last night. I had ordered my floor tickets in December, and waited several hours outside of the venue before the show. It was fucking worth it. It was incredible really. The performance was flawless, the pyrotechnics and effects were creative, fun, and jaw-dropping. I absolutely loved it. Really I felt fucking moved after I left the stage (drenched in foam from a dick-shaped cannon of course.) So many great moments in it. From the triumphant opening with the incredibly hot flames of "Sonne," to the dark, amazingly choreographed performance of "Mein Teil," to the powerful and moving performance of "Mutter," the BDSM of "Buck Dich," to the encore performances of Engel, Amerika, Ich Will, Mein Herz Brennt, and finally, the explosive "Pussy" performance, in which Till Lindemann (singer) mounted a dick-shaped cannon and shot foam into the audience. Really, I could go on and on about how incredible the show was, but I just typed up a huge review of it on my forum, so I'm a bit tired of typing.
So yes. The beginning of a summer I hope to be more akin to what I would view as a traditional summer- with hundreds of hours of animation, painting, drawing, etc, as well as simply enjoying some hobbies I haven't been able to enjoy for quite some time, like my good friend, Ocarina of Time.
I would also like to give a pal of mine some well-deserved promotion: Phat-Rat. He is a dubstep musician who I first started talking to after he asked to use the vocals from my CoD Second Chance movie in one of his tracks. Since then, I've provided vocals for several other tracks of his, such as Humans Must All Die and The Bowfin. There are also several other tracks he's currently working on. Definitely give him a listen, yo.
Anyways, onwards, into the summer.
Here's a photo I took.

Never heard of Rammstein before, but just from looking at the picture, they looks epic! Glad your summer is starting off well, hope it continues to be fun. Thanks for the promotion by the way! :)
