[Madness: Ascend]

So-so

Eh, not bad, but it does have some flaws. First and foremost, I'd like to point out the thing that struck me the most and made me feel like I was going insane and didn't even want to even finish the movie- the annoying ass sound effects. They caused a great deal of static which annoyed the hell out of me. This can simply be fixed by going into the sound properties of each sound (clicking the edit button on the bottom properties panel when on a frame where a sound is) and moving the sliders on both channels from the very tip top, a bit down. This gets rid of that annoying static that made me want to shove a cordless drill into my ears.

Second off, the animation its self. It was very smooth, but smoothness is not always good. The movements and the animation was not realistic at all. It was obviously tweened, which is not really the best idea for a Madness toon unless you're really good at it (Engan and some of the older Madness animators). I would have suggested FBF. The art style of the movie, I liked. For the most part, it was good, mainly due to the fact that I really like the "outline-less" styles.

There wasn't too much memorable about the movie, though. The only thing memorable about it is the ending, which was pretty well made, combined with the music. However, I am really pretty sure that there is a message behind this. However, I simply cannot decipher that message. I've tried thinking about it multiple times, but I really have no clue. It might have been better if you made it just a little more apparent to the audience.

Overall, not bad movie, but it has a story that doesn't exactly come off as "apparent", has annoying sounds, and isn't too memorable. But at least it was still pretty entertaining, and I definitely don't regret watching it.

Yeah, I agree with you about the sound, I wish I had some one that adds all the sound effects for me, it's always a pain. But yeah, I think I might do a final update with all the sounds fixed. Sorry for shoving a "cordless drill" into your ears. :P

About the tweening, I just wanted to give it that Madness feeling people enjoy plus it's hell of a lot easier to animate if you are gonna make a 5 minute long flash.

The ending's message is to love trees and smoke weed. I thought it was quite obvious haha. ;)

Oh god my childhood

Despite the simple art/animation, this movie is just fucking hilarious. You arranged those voice lines perfectly. Dear lord

That was great. Nice take on the whole RE5 thing, it was pretty funny and nicely animated. While some of the animation seemed a bit basic (mainly the whole curtain thing), for the most part it worked rather well in this movie.

These movies are pretty good. I like how you scroll through the different types of players we might meet online. Pretty accurate descriptions. Music choice is fucking cool, too. Good movie, funny, well animated, and pretty entertaining.

[One Big Morphing Orgasm]

Fantastic

Pretty damn great collab you've got here. Tons of creativity, and for the most part, the animation was smooth and mesmerizing. However, some of the morphs seemed a bit choppy, and kinda disrupted the flow a bit. Regardless, definitely a good movie. Perfect music choice, too.

yeah, it's a mixed bag, but I think that comes with collaborative projects, you've gotta give people a chance and cut them some slack if they're trying something they've never done before. :)

Very good

Very nicely made movie here. I love how you blended FBF animation into sprite animation, it looked very good, and was fitting. The scenes were pretty funny, and nicely put together. Excellent job with pacing in this, and it kept me entertained throughout the whole movie.

Funny

Clearly influenced by Joe Zombie. Pretty good movie. Simplistic art and animation, yet it's got some cool and funny elements to it. Overall definitely worth the watch. Nothing too memorable about this film except the fact that it's got Alice from the Resident Evil movies in it, but still an enjoyable film.
