[Octo Destroyer of Worlds]

This is so cool! I made a watercolor/ink painting with a similar concept back in like 2012. The craftsmanship here is awesome and I loooove the patterns on its head. The background is pretty solid as well! It'd be cool to see more angles of this :)

Awesome. Absolutely loving the detail in this. I love the color palette here, especially the subtle reflections closer to his head/shoulders.

As a person who frequents metal shows (like twice a month at least,) THANK YOU FOR WRITING OUT THE NAMES OF THE BANDS! Maybe I'm just not kvlt enough but I still struggle reading some band logos. I wish more concert posters would do this. Anyway, this is pretty good! The illustration gives off the vibe that these are doom/depressive/drone oriented bands? This poster doesn't exactly scream "FUCK YEAH METAL SHOW HYPE LET'S MELT OUR FACES OFF" but I think that it could work in the context of the bands. There's a good balance to the poster, but I can't quite put my finger on it- I think that the white text and font towards the bottom slightly throws things off.
Regardless, this is a pretty cool poster and it would definitely catch my eye!

I appreciate the honest review :) Yeah, i get what you mean about the whole vibe thing. The bands on line up go towards more death metal, so I suppose I could have made that more clear. The whole subject matter was spawned because there was a chance the gig was going to be 'seated event' due to rules and regulations we have at the moment.

This is awesome! Surprised I never got around to reviewing this one. The attention to detail and accuracy here is impressive- this must have taken a ton of planning. Very beautifully made! If I may recommend, you should check out an artist who goes by the name 'Wanderwierd.' He's a good friend of mine who, among many other talents, creates videogame-style mandala paintings. I don't think he's here on NG, but some of your work reminds me of some of the stuff he does, and I think you might dig it! Great work as always and I look forward to your next piece!

This is wonderful. Kinda hard to describe how much I love this work. I love how beautifully you've woven each of the stages together. This nearly brings a tear to my eye as I'd draw somewhat similar 'worlds' growing up. I love the flow here! It looks like you do have Brinstar, and possibly Brinstar Depths nearby as well, and I understand spacing might have been an issue, but it would have been cool to see Kraid in here! Regardless, this is impressive, and a very lovely tribute to one (and several of) the greatest games of all time. Thank you for sharing!
