Holy moly. This is fantastic! I love the almost watercolor-esque feeling of the trees, matched with the sharper details of the grass below. The reflections of the water were very well done, too!

Thank you so much :3

Love it, your work never disappoints :D I like the subtle changes in surrounding light as the traffic lights change. The purple in here is so satisfying to look at as well.

Thank you! I love it when someone appreciates all the little details I added. <3

Very nice. Great color palette, and amazing work with the lighting. I really like how you were able to pull off the reflections of light from beneath the water. Those patterns are difficult to nail, especially when you're adding the element of color to them. I'd say you captured this pretty damn well.

I really like your use of texture here, it went well with all of the surfaces you applied it to and adds a flair of vintage personality to this warm, yet chilly piece. The blue of the sky in the background hits just right, and I like your use of thin brush strokes for the naked trees.

Wow. Just, wow. I want to exist within this piece. You've illustrated such a great piece that is very easy to immerse yourself into. The light shining through the trees, as well as all other specs of light and highlights bring such a realistic, yet dreamy composition to this. The reflection in the water is so well done, too. Great work.

Absolutely captivating. The details here, such as the statues and windows in the buildings are so fruitful and impeccably applied. I'm really enjoying the layer of mist/dust towards the bottom of this piece. It provides a great sense of depth. The color palette here is perfect, and I love the very subtle hints of pink in the sky. Keep it up!

I'm very partial to the visual aesthetic of rainy nights, add some neon lights/headlights to that and boom, I'm right there. As pointed out earlier, the smaller details such as the raindrops on the roof really tie a nice bow to this piece. I also really love how you pulled off the reflection of the headlights, and also the raindrops/splashes in front of the headlights.
This is a very dreamy piece, and I'd love to be in this world without the threat of a deranged truck driver killing me and my friends. Keep it up!

Breathtaking. As a part-time mountaineer, this looks really damn realistic. The fog around the peaks further back, with the light shining through are pretty difficult visuals to capture, but you've done it almost perfectly here. Gotta check out the rest of your art now!

Is this watercolor? Certain strokes of fur, and the shading towards the bottom would indicate this, but sometimes it's a bit hard to tell with how good computer software is at emulating traditional art these days.
Regardless, very well done. Those brush strokes I mentioned earlier are highly effective and done just right. I love the smokey composition, and the detail in their eyes is absolutely striking. Love the symbolism too. Keep it up!

It's digital, using watercolor brushes.

Thank you very much! I really appreciate that!

Very interesting and colorful. I feel like there are some spots, namely around her face, where you could have done more with the detail. Something about her left arm looks off, too- specifically around her wrist leading into her hand. Aside from that, nice! I like the background colors/textures.

Jarrodjvandenberg responds:

Thank you, I appreciate the critique and I concur.
