Eeeeyyyy now this is nifty! I've always really appreciated cross-stitching, especially in more recent times as I've become a fan of pixel art. They both have a similar aesthetic that I really enjoy. This is super unique and very well made. The amount of color and attention to the smaller details such as the background is super impressive. Great work!

Easily one of my favorite pieces by you. The color palette is so vibrant, and the level of contrast is perfect. I love the attention to detail, especially around the car, and the grass lit up around it. Gahh those colors are so tasty.

radshoe responds:

You're too kind, thank you very much. ^^

Love it. Reminds me a bit of Denver. One thing I've always really loved is how building and skyscraper windows sometimes reflect the magnificence of a sunset, and I think you really captured that here. Great work.

Absolutely captivating. Each small detail, from the twinkle of the stars, the shimmer of the snow, to the shooting star, is all fantastic. I absolutely love the purple hue around the horizon line. Fantastic work.

radshoe responds:

Thank you so much! :)

Very happy to see this movie getting some appreciation. This is fantastic. I really like the design and how it seems to capture some points of the film. I won't spoil anything, but I really like how everything but the seagulls are within Pattinson's shadow. Pretty clever, even if not intended.

nathanandersonart responds:

Yeah! Favorite film of the year! Definitely intentional. :)

Wowee, it's honestly easy to mistake this for a photograph when you're a few feet away from your computer screen. You nailed that perfect harmony with shading and depth. I love how you stuck true to color, such as the red on the valves and cylinders, but also kept anything from standing out from the blue/green hue of the overall image.

mmmmm pizza
I think if a drawing inspires hunger, that's probably self-explanatory of its quality? Anyway, savory, cheesy, toasty. Love the harsher contrast on the crust.

maruki responds:

Thanks a lot!

I love this one. It has a mystical, outer-worldly atmosphere to it. One of my favorite aspects of this piece is how so many colors are present without conflict, for example, the bright teal highlights towards the hilt of his sword. The multi-colored stars in the background wrap this up nicely as well. This piece looks great both from a distance and up close. Great work!

Great work. This image really draws the viewer in, like peering into an alternate dimension or through some type of dream-lens. The colors, especially around the window, really pop and bring the brightness out. The shading is consistent too, which ties the bow on this one very nicely. Please keep it up, and definitely post more! Congrats on FP.

Maprower responds:

I can only hope to provide enough windows into alternate worlds for people to distract them from all the regular windows they spend their time gazing into.
But thank you, I can promise more stuff. A warm swathe of stuff. Status on bows to tie it together undetermined.

I just played through SH1 a few days ago, so it's cool to see this up on the front page! The loop, from what I can see, is seamless. Very well done. I like the color palette, and how you captured the dreamy atmosphere of the game with the grainy texture. I'd be excited to see what other Silent Hill/Horror loops you've got in store.

AntonM responds:

Thanks dude! The atmosphere has had such a massive influence on me over the years, happy to hear I've captured it :))
