I don't even know

I don't know what the hell I just watched, it seemed like some Madness-Valve-Animator Versus animation rip off really. The extremely fast text didn't help at all either, even with a person who reads as fast as I do. One minute there was the Meow Mix theme, then a cursor flying around, then someone playing Super Mario, then getting computer error sounds on his TV?
Look ok, I appreciate how you used Madness in a different way than usual, as in a non violent cartoon, but that appreciation is pretty low considering that the plot, if any, is so hard to follow. The only person in this Earth who could understand what is going on is you.
Alright now for the animation. Yeah pretty horrid too. As if the raping of an overused sprite sheet wasn't enough, the drawings looked like they were rushed and had no thought put into them.
Next time, work on the graphics, seriously, if you can, try to make some of your own.
And please, for the love of all that is good, make some sense.

Bout time somebody did this

Very very true. I love the NES and all but it sure is kinda annoying to mess with the cable cords, as well as have to shove things in the console to get it to work.
The animation poked at the console but had that touch of humor. I really got a kick out of the scenes with the "power brick".

Stop voting up your own movies.

Just don't do it.

Crazymonkey154 responds:

what gives you the idea that I actually WAS doing that?

Well, it's a little bit....

Ok what you don't want to do, is animate like the person right below me. Animating like him as in the collisions are too slow and cause too much devastation, the entire movie looks like it is in slow motion, and the characters are insanely stiff. It looks better than what he makes, much better, but you just need to work out some of these kinks. More speed in places, a more free body, and less awkward movements.
But yeah they were alright. Oh one last thing, be sure to take people's advice, you don't want to end up like the person below me who hasn't improved in two years because he can't take criticism.
Good luck.

Rockyusa responds:

Ok. Thanks for the tips (although i have no need for them right now).
I already know about 7 and how you hate him.
Anyways, i am getting better already. This is NOTHING compared to what i can do. So thanks for the tips anyways!

Another masterpiece by Erixs

I've always enjoyed your Madness movies among other fan movies. You put this touch that makes them stand out, I don't know quite how to explain it, but somehow yours are different, better.. Anyway very nice. The story was a pretty nice idea, and I loved how you added as much blood as possible. My only complaint would be that the law of gravity isn't really stressed as much is it probably should be, but it didn't take away from the enjoyment.
You should make something for Madness Day.

He died before his time

Way too soon.. Poor guy, he sure did have a lot of good things to sell.

SupahHank responds:

I know man. I just wish I knew how he died.

GOOD GOD NO WHAT THE FUCK.

Absolutely terrible. I might as well open a fucking Webster dictionary, find the definition for "unoriginality" and write the URL to this movie in place of the definition. Not only must you find it a good idea to rip off Dfear's Laser collection, but you also record the fucking audio from it. And you even did a shit job at that, it sounded like you just stuck a microphone to your speaker and blasted sayings from overused, dead memes from like 2 years ago. And then the fun comes along, you cut a fucking segment from Consternation. The little pushup scene. That's pretty low right there.
The animation was terrible, as well as the art. People with multiple right or left hands, choppy animation with pretty much no thought to it, it was dreadful. Accompanied by you "idea" (I use that term lightly), you have single handedly managed to earn yourself a pretty high rank in horrible Madness movies. Congrats

My suggestion would be to drop this whole completely ripping off other ideas, growing up and realizing that this meme that people somehow find funny has died and been dead for two years, and learning the difference between a left and right hand. After you are able to overcome those pretty simple steps, I'll help you out with other stuff deeper into Madness animating. That is, if you don't take this review as a threat to your family.

Let's break every rule on your list of guidlines!

Well first off, your little list of review qualifications pretty much leaves no room for criticism. So you're pretty much telling us that you would like to hide from constructive criticism, which also means you want to hide from becoming a better animator. Also, you should go look up the definition of "criticism" maybe then you'll realize how silly you look telling the reviewers to take criticism. Also, I'm pretty sure that if you knew all of this stuff you claim to have addressed in the author commentary, this movie would have actually been good.
Alright listen up, when someone tells you something like "Oh that scene made no sense, the animation is choppy, try to animate the feet more lifelike" that is not saying "You fucking suck go die god damnit I hate you". It's telling you how to improve your flash, if you want to get better at animating the easy way, then pay attention to the negative reviews more often the the positive ones. Coming from the heart, I can say that anyone who gives a review above 5 on this movie is a complete idiot. Those people are pretty much telling you that what you're doing is good and to keep doing it. Which ultimately boosts your ego and leads you to learning how bad of an animator you are the hard way, the way I did, involving a huge emo depression and a bunch of shit that would be easier just to not have gone through. So if you don't want to improve the easy way, then stop reading here and good luck in the future when you get even more negative reviews like this and you react like a 4 year old throwing a tantrum.

So first and foremost, I see that this is yet another random violence movie. It starts off in a random ass place where an un-named protagonist is faced with a bunch of unoriginal guards. Very bland already. The main character is terrible, no originality at all, it took absolutely no imagination to make him. It didn't even look like you tried, everything is the same. On a rare occasion, a movie with no plot whatsoever can be accepted, that occasion would be that the movie has entirely different characters, weapons, and backgrounds.
Alright on with the movie, the animation is choppy and really bad, at points it just looks like a 3 year old grabbed the mouse and placed random sprites across the screen, absolutely no thought put into it. The characters were walking statues firing guns, no definition of kickback whatsoever. The character was always leaned back in that exact same position, making me think that the body was converted all into one symbol and slid across the screen. Think about it this way, when you walk around, do you stay in the exact same uncomfortable leaned back state? I didn't think so. Also give the head a bit of a bounce on the walk cycles.
Ok moving on, I don't know what is up with this, but there are times when the character randomly teleports from one background to the other. That has to be one of the laziest things I have ever seen. You couldn't even animate the character SLIDING like a statue across the rest of the screen. That is really sad right there. Another common error among Madness movies, despite gunfire being heard in previous rooms, the guards are still completely oblivious to it, and just sorta stand there. Speaking of the guards, they just fucking stand there and die, you'd think they would at least try to live. Come on, your character (I use the word "your" very loosely) is fucking invincible, he just walks in and kills people with so fucking thought at all.
So more poorly animated killing occurs, then the movie just ends out of no where. Yeah, good going. I don't see how a movie of this exact proportion could have possibly taken more than a couple hours to make. Maybe you should try to spend a long time on a movie, adding loads of detail and smooth animation, drawing your own backgrounds and original characters, and thinking up a unique plot rather than just shitting out the exact same thing we saw not too long ago with animation barely improved at all from the last one.
