Yes

That was pretty good. The use of facts such as the "Hundreds of spammy blogs a day" and how he always sees things as a competition made the point of the movie and purpose a whole lot better. I would have probably added more facts about him though, just to get the main point across and give people who don't know him an idea of what he's about. But seeing as you haven't hated him for almost two years like I have, you did a really great job.

nggangsterpimp responds:

yea i really hate him this fucking much, but only recently like you said. thanks.

Woah, this is out?

I never noticed this came out, only today when I decided to watch the first one again. This was pretty good, however, I was a little disappointed to see that there wasn't too much of a "leap" in improvement from this episode to the first one. Even considering the two years it took to make this. There is improvement, don't get me wrong, but it's much less than I would expect. There was a noticeable improvement in art, though.
The voice acting was okay, I feel that it needed a bit more emotion though. The humor is also much better than the last one, and this episode was much more interesting than the last. The last one got a little boring over time, but this one kept me interested. I also found this one much more humorous. Your type of comedy is definitely pretty damn funny.
One final note, the lip-synching was a bit off track.
I expect and anticipate more from you soon.

Thanks L.L.-Link, I'm glad you enjoyed it. to be honest, Flash 5 has limitations, so hopefully I'll stop being a cheapass and get Adobe's Flash 8 or 9 or whatever it is.
I'm glad you enjoy the Canadian humour, it's definately a hit or miss, but odds are I'll wait for the next-and final-Legend of Zelda to be made in Flash 8.
I'll also buy a new headset too. Unfortunately too much emotion=terrible staticy feedback. But it gives me some time to whip up some good ideas and get everything together. Woah...I think I've gone on long enough...haha thanks for the review!

Pretty cool

That was great. The art was great, the animation was great, the music was great, it was fucking fantastic. You know, if this were submitted on Madness Day, I feel that the results might have been a little different..

Hulalaoo responds:

absotute, but the boys need the part 2 now ! xD, is hard, i are a lazy, :l, but i work in the part 2 now, :D

It deserves more than a ten?

And apparently I have no taste because I hated all of it? Well you're right, I do have no taste... No taste for a bunch of short clips of poorly drawn, low quality mspaint drawings, but who does?
Obviously it was dreadful, the first clip, where it shows some actual animation, is horrible in almost all ways. The use of the EXACT SAME scream noise over and over again was quite annoying, not to mention the low quality graphics. Seriously, they were terrible. I have no idea how they could even be that horrible, seriously. Unless you print screened madness sprites, but even then I don't think they'd be THAT bad. The movements were also stiff and looked rushed.
Part two, what the fuck. Really pointless, more low quality sprites having seizures and a pointless picture of Jesus up in the corner, bah.
Part 3 : A couple of Hanks with colored glasses flashing, and a couple of poorly arranged characters made from using sprite sheets. Boo. Seriously, if you want to make a character, make it on your own, as in actually draw it. No one likes characters made from sprite sheets, sure it's okay to use the body and head sprites as a base to work off of, but using hats, and other clothing is a no no. However, I am very proud that you know what hand is left and which one is right. Good job.
Part 4 was the exact fucking same as part two so I won't even bother.
Part 5 A bunch of madness heads getting tumors and a pointless sound clip. That sound clip was used so far out of context that it's not even funny. It had NOTHING to do with the actual story.
Part 6, more characters. Horrible characters that is, seriously, the quality is shitty again, what the hell did you do to those sprites?? All of the characters were pretty generic and had looks as if they were directly from "Wootification". No real diversity, just plain old sprites.

Okay so that's it, there wasn't much to review, but now I need to tell you something. YOUR MOVIE DOESN'T DESERVE A TEN, YOU'RE NOT AS GOOD AS YOU THINK YOU ARE IN YOUR HEAD, STOP TELLING YOURSELF LIES.
No one likes a person like you who thinks they deserve such high scores and get mad when people actually give them constructive criticism. It's not like these people review your movies just to piss you off. They review it for a reason, they hated it and don't want to see more. Honestly, the only good reviews that are left on this movie are from retards who obviously suck ass at judging and are too generous to 5 everything that they see is Madness. The main point is, don't pay attention to the retards. Only pay attention to the negative reviews. Because if you don't pay attention to the negative ones, then you'll never learn any thing. You'll just keep reading and doing what the retarded reviewers tell you to, the wrong thing.
Read the negative reviews if you want to get better, you could read the positive reviews, but I wouldn't take them so seriously. The negative reviews are obviously coming from people who have experience, or have enough knowledge from watching the official madness movies to tell that this was not good at all.

Little-Red-Bear responds:

well,
I will be honest with you, the sprites were from a pretty old sprite sheet and the quialty of them were'nt brilliant, but anyway. thanks for the tips.

The feet.

The feet seemed to be the only real thing wrong with it. They didn't move at all. You animated the body walking nicely but the feet moving would be much better. That's really it. Also one other thing would be to learn about kick back among different guns. For smaller guns like pistols, it would have a lot of hand movement, yet little to no body movement, and bigger guns like shot guns and rifles would have the type of kick back you had for the pistols.
So yeah.

nggangsterpimp responds:

a 7? thanks dude. yeah i have had quite alot of people tell me that the body movements are good but the feet arent,... all i need is a good way to move the feet and i would be great but. i havent found one yet. thnx. also thank you for the tips on the recoil. i will remember those in my next test or movie i decide to make.

I might check it out.

It seemed like an alright idea, the animation was pretty good at times, however, this was very stiff. The characters weren't animated enough, their bodies didn't lean in intense gunfire, and some of the animation was a bit choppy. I would work on adding more of a definition of kick back to the characters when firing guns. And work on those reactions. Overall, it was alright, I might check it out when it's released, I just hope that you take time with this and make it a full length movie.

Atgod88 responds:

Yeah I agree, I didn't put alot of detail into it. I was very wasteful and greedy. I will try alot harder next year.

Thanks for the review.

Ok fuck everyone, seriously, fuck everyone.

This was fucking great. It was excellent, the story was pretty fitting, and you gave a good idea of the early days of the portal. The animation was pretty smooth too, the art could have been better, but I still enjoyed it. Too bad it's under-rated and is being voted down by over crazed madness faggots who think that changing the traditional no limbs at all thing is like an apocalypse.
I enjoyed it.

Zwickel responds:

You are smarter than most people around, thank you.

Have my babies.

Fucking awesome. So smooth and clean graphics, it was great. I loved everything about it.

... Just so you know in the future-

It was bad. Definitely not the worst I've seen, but it's still really bad. Nothing in this movie makes any sense. Ok well, let's get started then.
At the start, I see that you used MOVIE CLIP WALKING. This is a big "no-no". Stop being lazy and actually animate walking. You just took a movie clip and slid it across the stage. I also see that apparently, the head and the body are attached. Not "attached" as in connected as a limb, I mean they're both in one movie clip, you're supposed to animate them separately, not as a whole. Ok so he goes over and... grabs the other guy and throws him on the ground (?) Well for that, it was too choppily animated to comprehend what actually happened, but I'm sure if I'm correct, that he did throw him on the ground, that the guy would be able to at least get up and put up some sort of a fight. Or at least give a little more reaction. Speaking of reaction, I see it shows a big view of the building with a guy standing there. Umm, wait, he's just standing there.. Couldn't he have seen Hank take down the first guy? Couldn't he have seen Hank approach? What was preventing him from going inside? You have to give the characters more human, you gotta consider what's going on OFF the set stage, and consider people who are standing there. What they did, where they ran, who they called, something. You can't just have Hank shooting the place up, then the camera pans over to the other side of the room where there are a few people smoking cigars.
Now this is sort of a personal thing, but I hate seeing Krinkels' backgrounds used in tribute movies. I mean come on, at least give SOME originality and draw your own building. It's not that hard and it doesn't take too long either.
Ok anyway, so the actual action begins, yay, or... Not yay. It's animated badly, especially the feet. They are just slopped around, and not actually animated with organization. Ok I don't really know what to say about these next few parts, aside from just that they're animated choppy, and the characters are very stiff. It also doesn't make sense why the agents are killing EACH OTHER. I mean like... They're part of the 1337 crew, they wouldn't kill each other.
Ok so Hank get's a shot gun, then a zombie comes out of no where. (Seriously, quit with the randomosity, it would be much better if you animated it better, but it just doesn't work for this.) Any way, how does that shot gun blow the zombie's entire upper body off, yet when Hank shoots guards, they just suffer from a bullet wound?
Ok so this next part features even more choppy animation, etc, with little to know actual body movement. Then we got the auditor. Ok um, this is just horrible. Ok so you've taken advantage of the whole "animate the body along with the head so that no definition of body movement and proper reactions will be given" thing. I mean hell, they don't even move their heads. They just stand there like a statue while their arms are flailing around.
Then Jesus comes and bla bla bla, more choppy animation.

Okay overall, it sucked, the randomosity DID NOT work for this at all. It would have been much better if it were animated better. But you didn't give it a plot, or any thing original really, you drew like, two of those graphics, and that's it. You also used Krinkels' official characters. You couldn't have at least made your own characters? Hell, even Madness Interactive characters would be better than the regular ones. Also, stop animating the body completely attached to the head, give them some personality and proper reactions. Tilt the body when necessary, move the head back when necessary, any thing's better than having statues running around shooting each other.
And I have no sympathy at all for you, how you rushed it or it's your first madness. The point is, start something ahead of time, and actually take time to work on it. If you finish it before the deadline, take time to go back and revise things. And so what if this is your one of your first madness movies? That doesn't completely excuse you from proper criticism, take this review and learn from it.

ZVCH responds:

This is what reviews should be more like. This was really helpful seeing how this was one of my first madness movies I have made.

Um.. Ok what.

Ok at first glance, I see that the sprites just look awful. I mean awful. EVEN IF I SET IT TO HIGH QUALITY, they'll still horrible. You're not supposed to download pictures of them, you're supposed to download them from a fla.
Ok so first off, learn how to arrange the hands. I've said this before, and I'm saying it again: it's not rocket science to figure out which hand is left and which is right. Ok now, they just slide to the door, no definition of actual walking or anything, just sliding. Then a zombie pops out and starts killing people..? Um, ok, that makes sense. Ok then this next part is just too badly animated to even comprehend what's happening. How does he get the AK47? Why does he kill everyone? Who is "Smidly"? Another note on that, go to a firing range, then fire an ak47. Do you stand there like a statue while firing it with no movement at all? No. Don't animate like this, add some kick back, and a definition of their limbs not being completely sown together. You animated them like walking statues.
Ok this next part is hilarious in his own way. Especially how you got the guns with the moving slides... Seriously... what. Ok so then there are more of these horribly exported characters (seriously, what the fuck?). Also in this part, the text goes by WAY too fast to even read that. I could only read in the first word or so before it changed, I'm a fast reader, but not fast enough for this flash. It's sad too, because I have no idea why he shot him.
This next part is just...
I seriously could not tell what happened. It was way too choppy and poorly animated. And the zombies didn't really make any sense at all. I had no idea what happened, so if you could tell me, I would love to.
Over all, this was awful. For one thing, fix those ugly low quality sprites, they look horrible. Second, take some time on your movies, we don't want to watch a rushed out hunk of shit, we want a movie that has been animated smoothly and has had time taken on it. You should really take time to watch Krinkels latest movies, hell, any of Krinkels' Madness movies. Not for entertainment, but so that you can study how smoothly and fluently he animates. And try to get better using that. And pay attention to all these negative reviews. No matter how negative they are, they should still have a point, the point is, that this was a badly animated movie. And the sooner you realize that, the sooner you'll get better.
And try to make your movies stand out more, and have a plot that actually makes sense in the movie. I don't want to have to ask you why the hell there were zombies or what was happening, you need to make it clear in the movie. And try to be more original, rather than this "kill everything randomly" shit. There are only a few times when this is acceptable, if the animator is godly, like Engan for example. His are random, but they're cool.
So yeah read that and such and like, get better.
